DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BUDAPEST

Upon arriving at Vienna International Airport, you will board a private coach for a scenic transfer to Budapest to the 4* Ramada City Centre around 18:30. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a Danube River cruise, where you’ll dine while taking in the breathtaking views of Budapest’s illuminated landmarks.

DAY 2: BUDAPEST

Start your New Year’s Day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel.

At 11:00, join your guide for an orientation walking tour of Budapest, offering a perfect introduction to the city’s most iconic sights. The two-hour tour will take you through the historic centre, showcasing Budapest’s architectural and cultural treasures. You’ll return to the hotel early in the afternoon, allowing for a brief respite before the afternoon’s activities.

Soon afterwards, we will depart by private coach for the famous Széchenyi Thermal Baths. Here, you can spend the afternoon relaxing in the warm, therapeutic waters, known for their healing properties. The baths are an integral part of Budapest’s cultural life, offering a serene retreat in the heart of the city. After a thoroughly relaxing experience, you’ll return to the hotel in the evening to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 3: SZENTENDRE & VISEGRÁD

After breakfast, prepare for a full day of exploration as we embark on a journey to Szentendre and Visegrád. The private coach will depart at 09:00, with your expert tour guide accompanying you throughout the day. 

Szentendre, renowned for its artistic atmosphere and charming streets, will be your first stop. Take some time to explore the vibrant galleries, museums, and shops that give this town its unique character. In the afternoon, continue to Visegrád, where you will visit the historic Visegrád Castle. Perched high above the Danube, this medieval fortress offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Your guide will provide insights into the castle’s strategic significance in Hungarian history. 

After a day filled with cultural and historical discoveries, return to Budapest by 18:00, leaving you with the evening free to relax and dine at your leisure. 

DAY 4: BUDAPEST & SHOPPING

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before setting out for a morning tour of Budapest’s most celebrated landmarks. You will explore Heroes’ Square, a major site of national pride, featuring the Millennium Monument and statues of Hungary’s revered leaders.

Next, visit Vajdahunyad Castle, a picturesque blend of architectural styles, set amidst the serene surroundings of City Park. Your knowledgeable guide will share the rich history and significance of these iconic sites. After the morning tour, return to the hotel for a brief rest. In the afternoon, you’ll indulge in some retail therapy at the Designer Outlet. Whether you’re in search of fashion, gifts, or souvenirs, this shopping excursion will offer a variety of options before returning to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 5: FREE DAY IN BUDAPEST

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, and take advantage of a free day to explore Budapest at your own pace. You might choose to visit additional landmarks, enjoy a relaxing day at a café, or take in the local culture. This day is yours to design, offering a perfect opportunity to personalise your Hungarian adventure. 

DAY 6: BRATISLAVA & VIENNA

After breakfast, check out from the Ramada City Centre as we set off for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The private coach will depart at 08:00, and upon arrival you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Bratislava’s historic Old Town. Explore St. Martin’s Cathedral, a Gothic gem with a rich history, and Bratislava Castle, which offers commanding views over the city and the Danube. Take some time to stroll through the charming streets of the city centre before continuing your journey to Vienna.

Upon arriving in Vienna, transfer and check-in to your 4* Leonardo Hotel.

DAY 7: VIENNA

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Vienna, one of Europe’s most elegant cities. Your private coach and local guide will take you on a journey through Vienna’s imperial past and vibrant present. Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the opulent former summer residence of the Habsburgs, where you can explore the grand state rooms and stroll through the immaculate gardens. 

Continue to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece in the heart of the city, and walk along the historic Ringstrasse, lined with grand buildings and monuments. Throughout the day, you’ll have opportunities to enjoy traditional Viennese cuisine, with a lunch break at a local café. The tour concludes in the early evening, after which you can return to the hotel or continue exploring Vienna at your leisure. 

DAY 8: VIENNA - MALTA

On your final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out of your hotel. With your flight scheduled to depart from Vienna International Airport at 14:10, you will have some free time to make any last-minute purchases or simply enjoy a final stroll through the city’s beautiful streets.

The private coach will transfer you to the airport, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free journey. As you board your flight, take with you the wonderful memories of your Central European adventure, filled with rich cultural experiences and the warm hospitality of Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria.
