INGLOT SHOWCASES FIERCE TIGER INSPIRED NAILS AT PARIS FASHION WEEK

Working on collections for KENZO, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have been permanently provoked to picture life through the prism of culture, people and happenings. One of the most influential inspirations for them is the world of cinema. The movie was a key part of KENZO Women’s and Men’s Show FW18. The collection was inspired by movies and transferred onto the fabrics with movie poster images along with navy and dark red leather coats. Kenzo also incorporated their floral trademark.


INGLOT has been a manicure partner of the show for the sixth time. The show took place on January 21st at iconic Paris Event Centre. INGLOT team together with A-list nail artist Naomi Yasuda created looks for the models.


For Kenzo FW18 Men & Women’s show, I created “retro rock nails” - explained Naomi Yasuda - I wanted Kenzo girls to be tough. Their look consisted of big hair and strong eye liner, so I used dark colors on the nails to follow suit.


The nail team created two manicure arts adjusted to the models' outfits.
Flame designs were a perfect fit for some looks- matching the red INGLOT Nail Enamel 802 to the dark red leather in the collection as the base, then INGLOT black O2M Nail Enamel 692 for the flames shooting up the nail. The second nail look was aligned with one of Kenzo’s signature floral prints. In order to keep the tough & dark look, I chose INGLOT BLUE polish for the base and used INGLOT BLACK polish to outline the flower from the collection – commented Naomi.
