We are looking for Travel Executives who will be assisting clients in all their travel requirements where requests are received in person, via telephone call, or by email. The chosen candidates must ensure that quality customer service experience is provided and are ready to go the extra mile to ensure clients are well taken care of, exceeding expectations, and making this project a success from day 1.

You must also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Exceptional communication skills;
    • Enthusiasm and strong customer service and sales skills;
    • Enjoy working with people, understanding their requirements and have a friendly and outgoing personality;
    • Good basic computer knowledge;
    • Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
    • Able to work under pressure;
    • Must be responsible, reliable and trustworthy.

    Preference will be given to candidates who possess any of the following:
    • An IATA qualification;
    • A relevant and accredited qualification in travel;
    • Work experience in travel;
    • Knowledge of travel ticketing software – ideally Amadeus;
    • Prior experience in logistics;
    • Prior experience in sales;
    • Knowledge of foreign languages, including Italian, French, German and Spanish would be considered an asset.

The key responsibilities of this post include:

    • Greet and meet clients, understand their needs and provide them with the appropriate solution(s) to meet their requirements.
    • Provide appropriate information and knowledge about the products being offered to customers.
    • Reception duties, answering the telephone, making travel appointments and arrangements, operating the computer and point of sale systems.
    • Perform all necessary travel duties, which include but are not limited to issuing travel tickets, arranging for rental car services, offering suggestions and providing literature pertaining to trips, excursions, sporting events, concerts, plays etc...
    • Responsibility for marketing package tours to individuals and groups.
    • Update as required client records and transfer information to the computer client file.
    • Share and provide information to other team members on any knowledge gained in respect of both clients as well as suppliers.
    • Liaise with the respective suppliers for the provision of the necessary travel services to clients.
    • Work consistently towards achieving the sales targets of the division as determined by Management.
    • Any other related duties as may be determined from time to time by Management.
