    • Excellent verbal and written command of the English language communication to articulate business proposals and negotiate contracts.
    • Proven ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
    • The ability to analyze market data, financial reports, and performance metrics.
    • Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with partners and vendors.
    • The ability to think strategically and develop long-term business plans.
    • Strong networking skills to build relationships within the industry.
    • The flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Ability to identify and address challenges in the business development process.
    • Familiarity with technology and digital marketing tools used in the travel industry.

The key responsibilities of this post include:

    • Creating travel products
    • Conducting market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors.
    • Evaluating customer needs and preferences in the travel industry.
    • Developing strategic plans to expand the agency's reach and market share.
    • Setting goals and objectives for business development initiatives.
    • Identifying and establishing partnerships with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Negotiating contracts and agreements with partners to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
    • Implementing strategies to attract new clients and customers and drive revenue growth.
    • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
    • Developing marketing campaigns to promote the agency's services.
    • Utilizing digital marketing tools and social media to increase brand visibility.
    • Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build connections.
    • Fostering relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the travel industry.
    • Monitoring budgetary constraints and ensure cost-effectiveness in business development initiatives.
    • Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
