We are looking for a reliable, responsible and caring Household & Childcare Assistant to become a long-term part of our household routine.
The role will involve maintaining the home, preparing meals and providing care and support for the children, particularly after school. We are looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, enjoys working with children and is comfortable managing a variety of household responsibilities.
You must also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- · Responsible, trustworthy and dependable
· Caring and patient, with a genuine interest in working with children
· Organised and able to manage time effectively
· Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
· Flexible and willing to assist with different household tasks
· Respectful of the family's privacy and home environment
· Interested in developing a long-term working relationship with the family
Previous experience in housekeeping, childcare, domestic work or a similar role would be considered an advantage.
The key responsibilities of this post include:
- · General cleaning and organisation of the household
· Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised home
· Washing, drying, folding and ironing clothes
· Preparing family meals and assisting with meal planning
· Looking after the children after school
· Preparing snacks and meals for the children
· Assisting children with homework and schoolwork
· Helping children with their daily routines and activities
· Ensuring the children are safe, comfortable and well cared for
· Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings organised
· Assisting with general household tasks and errands as required
· Supporting the smooth running of the household on a daily basis
Employment conditions:
This is a full time role.
