DAY 1 – MALTA – AMSTERDAM

Meet the tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Amsterdam. Upon arrival transfer to Rotterdam cruise terminal for embarkation of your cruise on board the Celebrity Apex.

DAY 2/9 CRUISE

In spring 2020, Celebrity Cruises expanded its fleet with the Celebrity Apex. The second ship of the luxurious and currently newest Edge class exceeds expectations. The outward-facing design convinces with a special color selection and the visionary rooms. On board you can enjoy unique views from the world’s first Magic Carpet, a tennis court-sized platform that can be moved over 13 decks. Depending on which deck the magic carpet is on, it can serve as an extension of the restaurant, the pool area or the embarkation station. During the day as well as in the evening, the Rooftop Garden is a hotspot on board. With a length of 306 meters, the ship offers space for 2,910 passengers. The ship was built at the STX shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France. Guests can expect 5-star comfort, excellent service and excellent cuisine.

PORTS OF CALL

OSLO surrounded by mountains and sea, this compact, cultured and fun city has a palpable sense of reinvention. It is geographically situated at the northern most end of Oslofjord and is enclosed by forests, green hills and mountains. There are about 40 big and small islands in and around the city limits, the most significant being Malmoya which is the nearest to Oslofjord. The highest mountain in the Oslo region is Kirkeberget which stands tall at 629 metres.

GEIRANGER is surrounded by steep mountains on either side of the fjord, which has made it one of the most visited tourist destinations in Norway. Along the side of the fjord, there are number of now-abandoned farms. The most visited among these are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå may be reached by foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be reached from the fjord.

FLAM sits in a truly spectacular setting beside Sognefjord. The main attraction here is the stunning mountain railway that creeps up into the surrounding peaks and offers truly eye-popping panoramas. Unfortunately it’s far from a well-kept secret, and on the busiest summer days the tiny village can find itself swamped by several thousand visitors – it’s probably best left for the quieter seasons of spring and autumn.

OLDEN is a beautiful little village nestled at the mouth of the River Oldeelva. It is situated at the end of the famous 66-mile Nordfjord. The village is an easy gateway to Norway’s stunning natural scenery and hosts a wonderful array of things to see. Olden is rated among the best cruise ship destinations in the world. It’s the doorway to the Jostedal Glacier, Europe’s largest mainland glacier. Olden is renowned for its Norwegian hospitality and friendliness, natural beauty, and the many wonderful things to do. The winding, peaceful valleys meet colossal glaciers and crashing waterfalls, all set against the beautiful backdrop of towering mountains. Overall, the famous Norwegian Fjords are simply unmissable.

BERGEN is Norway’s second largest city, and lies clambering up the mountain sides, overlooking the sea, embracing you. You can roam through living history in this modern city, before continuing to explore the wildest and loveliest fjords of Norway. On a Norwegian scale, Bergen is a large city, but one with a small-town charm and atmosphere. Its passionately patriotic inhabitants are proud of their many-sided city and its history and cultural traditions. Many are only happy to direct visitors to their favourite local attraction, coffee shop or restaurant.
