The Tied Insurance Intermediary (TII) is responsible for promoting and selling financial products on behalf of a specific insurer. This role requires a deep understanding of the products offered, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. The TII acts as a trusted advisor, guiding clients in selecting the best insurance solutions to meet their needs.

ROCS Company Limited is an enrolled Tied Insurance Intermediary under the Insurance Distribution Act, Cap 487 of the Laws of Malta for MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c.. MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c.(C-15722) is authorized under the Insurance Business Act, Cap 403 of the Laws of Malta. Both entities are regulated by the MFSA. Rocs Company Limited is only authorized to sell Insurance Based Investment Products (‘IBIPs’) and no investment services are being provided.

You must also possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    Experience:
    • Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is an asset.
    • Familiarity with the insurance industry and various products offered by the tied insurer.
    Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.

The key responsibilities of this post include:

    • Actively promote and sell financial products to clients through various channels, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and online communication.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate products.
    • Provide detailed explanations of policy features, benefits, and exclusions to ensure clients make informed decisions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues related to policy coverage or claims.
    • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
